دستگاه ضبط در سیستم‌های دیجیتال، NVR نام دارد. لازم به ذکر است که شما در سیستم شبکه می‌توانید از کامپیوتر یا سرور به جای دستگاه NVR استفاده کنید. در سیستم شبکه شما می‌توانید برای ضبط تصاویر به جای NVR از یک سرور یا حتی کامپیوتر نیز استفاده کنید.

در سیستم شبکه نیز از آداپتور برای تغذیه دوربین‌ها استفاده می‌شود. همچنین سیستم‌های مداربسته هایک ویژن از تکنولوژی POE استفاده می کنند. در سیستم POE کابل‌ها و اتصالات طوری طراحی شده‌اند که همزمان با انتقال تصویر، جریان الکتریکی را نیز انتقال می‌دهند.

برای برق‌رسانی به دوربین‌ها و تجهیزات از کابل برق استفاده می‌شود اما همانطور که گفته شد چنانچه سیستم از نوع POE باشد دیگر نیازی به آن نیست و دوربین‌ها از طریق کابل تصویر خود تغذیه می‌شوند.

هارد دیسک در سیستم دیجیتال HIVISION برای ضبط تصاویر در داخل دستگاه NVR قرار می‌گیرد. با این تفاوت که به دلیل آنکه در سیستم‌های شبکه هایک ویژن کیفیت تصاویر بالاتر است لذا حجم تصاویر نیز بالاتر بوده و فضای بیشتری را اشغال می‌کنند. بنابراین ممکن است به تعداد هارد بیشتری احتیاج داشته باشید.
